Reporting to the Director of Student-Athlete Development, the Assistant Director will be responsible for the logistics and execution of various student-athlete development programs. Coordinate and facilitate successful completion of professional development for Dress to Impress and Micro-Internship programs; execute and facilitate regular Buckeye Futures and Athletes in Medicine sessions. This individual will oversee entrepreneurship programming, the Buckeye Road Trip, EDSLI social media, and will maintain the EDSLI website.The Assistant Director will help ensure that all sophomore student-athletes have a working resume by utilizing resume workshops and assisting with the Dress to Impress Program. The successful candidate will assist with the scheduling and completion of resume reviews, cover letters, CVs, and conducting mock interviews and career consultations. He or she will be actively engaged in the recruiting process for all (36) sports and will meet with prospective student-athletes, as requested by each sport.This person will need to think creatively in order to continuously improve engagement with student-athletes. The programing needs will constantly be evolving to meet the needs our student-athletes, and the successful candidate will take an active role in proposing new and innovative ways to reach the goals of the Leadership Institute.**Minimum Required Qualifications**Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills, high-level communication and interpersonal skills (speaking and writing). Master’s degree and experience working in a Collegiate Athletic Department desired.
