Childcare Director

The Sapling School is seeking a dedicated and reliable Childcare Director to lead our childcare program in South Brunswick, NJ. This role requires a flexible schedule within the hours of 6:30am to 6:00pm to ensure the highest standards of care and education are met for all children in our program.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the childcare program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Manage and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement curriculum and activities that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Maintain compliance with all state regulations and licensing requirements.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and center activities.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required.
Requirements
Proven experience in childcare management or early childhood education.
Ability to work flexible hours between 6:30am and 6:00pm.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Reliable and committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for children and staff.
Knowledge of relevant childcare regulations and best practices.
Educational credentials relevant to early childhood education preferred.
Must meet Director requirements as specified by the Department of Children and Families Office of Licensing.
