Real Estate Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a Florida-licensed attorney based in South Florida with a background in residential real estate to join our boutique firm in West Palm Beach. This position offers the opportunity to provide legal support, resolve title issues, and contribute to the success of residential transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks performed include negotiating contracts, reviewing title exceptions, open building permits or municipal liens, reviewing surveys and related elevation certificates, and closing documents.
Examine and clear title matters to facilitate smooth closings.
Communicate effectively with internal staff, customers, attorneys, and lenders to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school in the US.
Licensed to practice law in Florida.
3 years of experience in residential real estate transactions.
Ability to work cases from inception to close.
Experience with residential real estate closings, moving cases along independently.
Some experience in corporate contracts preferred.
