Summary:

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for driving pricing strategy, data and value analytics, developing and establishing pricing process improvements / procedures, influence and guide price negotiations, continuously improve organizational pricing capability and providing pricing practice leadership across all commercial channels and for all product and technology categories. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Drive the global development and implementation of pricing strategies and programs to maximize profitability across all customer bases. Establish a core understanding of value pricing across the commercial organization, to improve overall negotiations competencies. Develop and implement process improvements within the four core operating areas of Pricing (Negotiation, Administration, Delivery, Measurement) to drive consistency. Demonstrate thought leadership in developing and implementing new pricing based tools, analytics and systems for price performance measurement, contract management / tracking, margin improvement opportunity identification, market analysis and competitive analytics. Develop and manage "pricing playbook" for organizational understanding and alignment around pricing practices and directions. Support strategic commercial programs to optimize price and drive operating margin. Ongoing evaluation of segment and customer pricing analytics to correct potential price leakage. Build cross functional and cross Business Unit relationships to gain alignment from peers, leaders and stakeholders in the implementation of strategic pricing methodology. Interact regularly with Senior Executive Management and Business Unit Leaders through a formalized review process and Stakeholder Management process. Own pricing KPIs to measure impact and improvement of pricing strategies. · Establish and implement pricing strategies and product related policies and business plans. · Collect/establish market research and analyze market trends · Active member of the S&OP process · Maximize the utilization of for business intelligence traceability Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: · Minimum Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Master of Business Administration (MBA) and experience in consumer or packaging markets preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
