Trade Analyst HEMPHILL EXCLUSIVE (only search firm engaged to fill this position)
One of the region’s most successful wealth management firms is adding a Trade Analyst to their team due to consistent year-over-year growth. In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Trading and the Chief Investment Officer, providing research and a wide variety of analysis to ensure investment decisions are based on accurate data. This role is data-driven, focusing on research, analysis, ad hoc reporting, and quantitative analysis.
Take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities that offer challenge, impact, and professional development. You will use tools and software such as Black Diamond, FactSet Financial Data, and the DataRobot AI Platform. Experience with these systems, Bloomberg Terminal, or Orion Platforms is a plus but not required. Complete analysis in preparation for weekly trade execution to re-balance accounts for optimal trade outcomes. Monitor bond maturities and forecast weekly investible cash. Monitor new client deposits and investible assets across all client accounts, optimizing all assets. Review economic analysis to inform changes to the industry portfolio allocation model. Create equity models to optimize returns based on economic trends. Review cash balances to ensure a 2% target is met. Review new client portfolios and assist with setting up new clients in Black Diamond. Collaborate with the Director of Trading to ensure accurate trade execution within strategy and guidelines. Conduct market and product research to support investment decision-making. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, inspired by intellectual challenge, analysis, and naturally curious.
