Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Broker located in Syosset, NY. The Freight Broker will manage freight brokerage operations, secure new business prospects, and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients. Responsibilities include coordinating freight dispatch, negotiating rates, providing excellent customer service, managing accounts, and ensuring timely deliveries while addressing any potential issues that may arise.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Freight Brokerage and general Brokerage services

Strong skills in Customer Service and Dispatching

Experience in building and managing client and carrier relationships through Account Management

Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve challenges efficiently

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in transportation management systems or related logistics tools

Knowledge of logistics regulations and freight compliance standards is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
