Director, External Reporting & Technical Accounting - Hemphill Exclusive!
Publicly traded Nebraska organization is searching for an accounting leader to join the management team in a key role. This is a great opportunity for a highly technical accounting leader who loves accounting policy research, one-time transactions and taking leadership over the firm’s external financial reporting function.
Take a lead role in the preparation and filing of all SEC documents including 10K and 10Q and investor presentations
Lead the quarterly SEC reporting calendar and coordination with external auditors
Research and due diligence on new accounting pronouncements and guidelines
Play a key role in developing and establishing accounting policies and procedures for the corporation
Research accounting treatment related to one-off transactions, acquisitions, divestitures and corporate actions
Work closely with executives on numerous special projects tied in directly to the company’s strategic decisions in a very competitive, active industry
