Major Duties
Serves as All-Source Intelligence Analyst in the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), responsible for detailed, multi-disciplined intelligence analysis, solving difficult and complex analytical problems.
Acts as Intelligence Subject Matter Expert for highly unique special operations targets of operational and intelligence interest to the command.
Applies expert knowledge of HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, MASINT, IO, related analysis and signal processing to investigate and develop new techniques.
Represents the command as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst during coordination and liaison with counterparts throughout the national intelligence community, intelligence and operational staffs and other government agencies.
Evaluates correctness and accuracy of all-source intelligence data.
Prepares and edits integrated intelligence products, such as briefings, intelligence assessments, and SOF feasibility assessments, intelligence estimates, target packages, and annexes to operational orders.
Prepares analysis short-range, mid-range, and long-range planning to close intelligence systems infrastructure gaps and create an efficient joint environment to identify and neutralize our nation's security threat.
Conducts in-depth research and analysis using state-of-the-art intelligence research tools and automated data processing equipment.
