Collections Specialist

Overview:
Our company is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to join our Stamford team. This onsite role (5 days per week) will focus on high-volume collections, executing outbound calls and emails, and effectively logging activities in a large ERP system such as NetSuite.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage high-volume collections process, including outbound calls and emails to clients and customers regarding overdue accounts
+ Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities in NetSuite or similar large ERP platforms
+ Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve account discrepancies
+ Monitor aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts in accordance with company policy
+ Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and support timely collections
+ Meet and exceed daily and weekly collection targets
+ Prepare regular reports on collection status and account activities
+ Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all communications
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of experience in collections, preferably in a high-volume environment
+ Proven track record of handling outbound communications and achieving collection targets
+ Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work onsite in Stamford, Monday through Friday
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally
