At The Learning Experience® , we are looking for an Assistant Director – Compliance & Administration to support our Center Director and leadership team by keeping the school organized, inspection-ready, and compliant. This role is supportive, not disciplinary. You will help create systems, reduce stress for leadership, and ensure the school meets state, TLE, and CACFP requirements. What You'll Do Licensing & State Compliance Support compliance with state child care licensing regulations Organize and maintain licensing documentation and records Assist with licensing inspections, renewals, and follow-ups Track deadlines and required compliance paperwork TLE Standards Support Support The Learning Experience® operational and safety standards Help leadership maintain required policies and procedures Identify compliance gaps and assist with corrective action plans CACFP Program Support Maintain CACFP documentation, including meal counts and forms Support accurate and timely CACFP claims Assist with CACFP audits and monitoring visits Train staff on proper CACFP documentation procedures Training & Team Support Provide guidance and support to leadership and staff Serve as a resource for compliance-related questions Help create simple systems that keep the school on track What We're Looking For Required: 2 years of experience in early childhood education, administration, or compliance Knowledge of child care licensing regulations and documentation Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Preferred: Experience as a Director, Assistant Director, or administrative lead Experience working with CACFP Experience preparing for licensing inspections Enjoys structure, checklists, and process improvement Pay & Benefits Salary range: $42,000 – $46,000 401(k) retirement plan Health insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid training and onboarding Supportive leadership and positive work environment Why The Learning Experience® The Learning Experience® is a purpose-driven organization committed to high-quality early childhood education.
