Account Manager

The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact between Altek and its customers. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing the fulfillment of customer orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role operates in an aerospace manufacturing environment and coordinates closely with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain teams to support customer programs, ensure contractual compliance, and drive long-term client success. Responsibilities: Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining regular communication Builds strong, long-lasting relationships to foster customer loyalty and satisfaction Monitors the execution of customer orders and programs, ensuring schedules are met and applicable quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements are fulfilled Coordinates with internal teams including engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain to ensure customer expectations and program objectives are achieved Provides ongoing support, monitors account performance, and reports on performance metrics Provides feedback to internal teams to improve products, services, and customer experience Understands client program goals and aerospace industry requirements and works with them to develop long-term strategies that drive success Communicates effectively, both in writing and verbally, with customers and internal teams Adapts and modifies as circumstances warrant Demonstrates safe work habits Builds and maintains positive rapport, communication and behavior with other Altek employees, customers and/or suppliers Embraces Altek's Quality Policy to ensure quality to internal and external customers Embraces Altek's vision, core values, and expected behaviors Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 5+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or program coordination (experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments preferred) Committed to delivering excellent customer service Excellent negotiation and communication skills Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems, etc.) Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and prioritization abilities Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy Highly dependable and capable of working independently or collaboratively with a team
