Director Of Resident Services
The Director of Resident Services plans, develops, organizes, and implements activities which stress recreation, diversion, and intellectual/educational development for Residents; manages the day-to-day concerns of the Residents, coordinating necessary resources; promotes the Volunteer Program and represents the facility to the area churches and the wider community, including recruitment and retention of Volunteers for all areas of the facility. Minimal Education: High School diploma required. College degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Minimal Experience: Valid driver's license, and ability to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage. Eligible for chauffeur's license. Experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting. Other Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience preferred. One year experience with recreational programming in a geriatric setting preferred. Experience working in a 55+ senior living community and Life Enrichment experience with senior population preferred.
