Customer Support Representative
[Summary]
A Japanese trading company specializing in cosmetic ingredients is looking for a Customer Support Representative. This position is responsible for handling end-to-end customer service operations, including order processing, inventory coordination, and communication with clients and suppliers both domestically and internationally.
[Essential Duties]
- Receive and process purchase orders from cosmetic manufacturing clients
- Check inventory availability and issue shipping instructions to the warehouse
- Create and send invoices to the warehouse/logistics company
- Place purchase orders with suppliers
- Communicate with clients to coordinate delivery schedules and manage lead times
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and invoices using internal systems (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Serve as a liaison between sales, logistics, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Handle and resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Support ad-hoc tasks as required in a small, agile team environment

commute to office 5 days/week
[Salary, Benefit]
$60,000-70,000

[Qualifications]
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (both written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience in customer support, logistics, or supply chain (especially in trading or manufacturing industries)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting/order management systems preferred
- Experience working with logistics companies is a plus
