Business Development Associate Full-Time | Hybrid (80% Remote / 20% On-Site) | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Location: Tamarac, FL 33321

About Interventional Spine Specialists of Florida At Interventional Spine Specialists of Florida (ISSF), you’ll be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering advanced, compassionate pain care across South Florida. With over 30 years of experience, ISSF focuses on diagnosing and treating the root causes of pain—helping patients move beyond symptom management and reclaim their lives.

The Opportunity This is a relationship-driven, field-based growth role where your ability to connect, influence, and build trust will directly impact patient access to care. You’ll focus on identifying new referral opportunities, strengthening partnerships with healthcare providers, and executing strategic outreach initiatives to drive patient volume, while collaborating closely with internal teams and representing the organization in the community.

Strategic Growth & Relationship Development

Increase patient volume through the planning and execution of networking and marketing campaigns

Build relationships with key groups and community leaders to generate new patient referrals

Research and pursue prospective referral sources in targeted markets, following through to successful agreements

Maintain strong relationships with existing providers while identifying new opportunities within your territory

Analyze target markets, including industry trends, company structures, and referral strategies

Promote company services to all referral sources

Brand Representation & Community Engagement

Represent the organization professionally at all times, ensuring services are portrayed positively

Maintain professional appearance, including adherence to uniform and hygiene standards

Manage marketing event calendars and coordinate participation with internal teams

Reporting & Market Feedback

Maintain detailed records and gather feedback to evaluate marketing performance

Present customer and client insights to management in an actionable format

Provide weekly reports on goals, performance, and upcoming initiatives

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field required

At least one year of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, customer service, fundraising, or a similar field

Experience in the healthcare industry preferred

Experience in marketing project management, communications, campaign development, and/or event planning preferred

Healthcare or physician outreach experience preferred

Required Skills & Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareStrong organizational skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of public relations and fundraising principles and strategies

Excellent public speaking skills

Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain media and community relationships
