Border Bank is seeking an experienced, relationship‑driven Ag/Business Banker to join our Greenbush team.
This role is ideal for a banking professional who excels at building strong client relationships, driving business growth, and staying actively engaged in their community.
As an Ag/Business Banker, you will provide loan, deposit, and cash‑management solutions to business and agricultural clients while representing Border Bank as a trusted partner in the region.
Ag/Business Banker Key Responsibilities
Originate agriculture and business loans; manage an assigned portfolio with attention to growth, mix, margin, credit quality, and fee income
Generate new loan volume through proactive business development and deepening existing client relationships
Provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients
Monitor and work with delinquent loans to maintain a high‑quality loan portfolio
Create new deposit relationships and expand existing ones
Negotiate loan rates and terms within established guidelines
Actively participate in community and civic organizations, representing Border Bank in the community
Ag/Business Banker Education & Requirements
Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
Passion for business development and community involvement
Solid credit analysis skills
5+ years of banking experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
