Motorcars Limited is seeking an exceptional Automotive Photographer to join our Bring a Trailer department. This is not a volume‑lot photography role. We are looking for someone who can professionally capture special‑interest, enthusiast, and high‑end vehicles in a manner consistent with premium online presentation. Our inventory and client vehicles range from analog collector cars to modern performance and luxury vehicles. The ideal candidate understands how to visually tell the story of a car - from design details and provenance cues to condition, finishes, interior craftsmanship, and undercarriage presentation. This role is ideal for someone who appreciates the difference between ordinary dealership photography and the kind of honest, compelling presentation seen in top‑tier enthusiast auctions. What you’ll do Photograph high‑end, collector, exotic, and enthusiast vehicles for Bring a Trailer listings Capture full exterior, interior, engine bay, undercarriage, documentation, accessories, and detail photography Stage vehicles thoughtfully for premium visual presentation Manage lighting, composition, color accuracy, reflections, and detail clarity Edit and organize digital photo sets for auction‑ready and web‑ready delivery Maintain consistent photo standards across varied vehicle types and conditions Work closely with our BaT team to ensure each car is presented accurately and completely Occasionally assist with short‑form video capture or walk‑around content Qualifications Extensive digital photography experience is preferred Strong portfolio demonstrating automotive, product, luxury, or editorial photography Exceptional eye for composition, lighting, finish quality, and detail Proficiency in professional editing workflow and file managementAbility to work independently and maintain exacting standards Strong organizational skills and consistency across large photo sets Automotive enthusiasm and knowledge strongly preferred Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, skill, and portfolio.
