Full-Time Nanny for Infant
Jovie of CA, WA, and MN, Edina, MN, United States
A bit about us:
We are an active, social family located in Edina seeking a long‑term nanny to join us as we welcome our first child this spring and grow with us as we expand our family in the future. We enjoy spending time outdoors, and staying active in our community. We live in a family‑friendly neighborhood and are within walking distance to both Arden Park and 50th and France. Mom works from home office two days per week. Our home environment is warm, organized, and collaborative, and we value strong communication and reliability. We have a sweet 7‑year‑old Labrador retriever in the home, so comfort around dogs is a must, though no pet care is required.
A bit about you: You are a dependable, mature, and engaging caregiver with extensive newborn and infant experience. You are organized, detail‑oriented, and naturally proactive, with an upbeat and outgoing personality. You thrive in a structured environment, take direction well, and bring consistency and professionalism to your role. You have flexibility in your schedule, especially when given advance notice. You are looking for a long‑term position where you can grow with a family and become a valued part of their lives.
Job Duties: Primary responsibilities include attentive childcare, supporting the infant’s daily routine and development and actively engaging the child in age‑appropriate play. Additional duties include preparing meals for the child, children’s laundry, tidying up after the child, and maintaining organization in child‑related spaces. As the child grows, responsibilities will expand to include transportation to activities and outings. Light family laundry and family meal prep may be requested occasionally but is not a core responsibility of the position. No traveling on family trips is anticipated.
Position Highlights:
Hourly rate: $27 to $35 per hour, depending on experience
Healthcare stipend: $100 per month
Guaranteed 38 hours per week
PTO offered on an accrual basis
Paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
Opportunity for additional hours, including date nights and overnights
Long‑term role with opportunity to grow with the family
Qualifications:
Extensive newborn and infant care experience required
Prior in‑home nanny experience with newborns/infants required
CPR, First Aid, Tdap, flu, and COVID‑19 vaccinations required
