The Government Relations Rep will support Aeronautics Government Affairs by coordinating activities across multiple functions and Lockheed Martin business areas to ensure alignment, communication, and execution of key initiatives. This role serves as a central point of coordination for site visits, reporting, policy support, and advocacy efforts. The associate will partner closely with internal teams including Protocol and Events, Social Impact, Customer Relations, Communications, and Lockheed Martin Government Affairs (LMGA) to help plan and execute external engagements, strengthen advocacy initiatives, and enhance overall stakeholder engagement. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Government Relations activities across Aeronautics and other Lockheed Martin business areas to ensure alignment and effective communication Support planning and execution of site visits, including logistics, stakeholder coordination, and follow‑through actions Prepare and contribute to weekly reports, policy white papers, and briefing materials Serve as a liaison to internal partners including Protocol and Events, Social Impact, Customer Relations, and Communications teams Coordinate and support external engagements with government officials and key stakeholders Assist in the execution of grassroots and advocacy initiatives across Aeronautics Partner with Lockheed Martin Government Affairs (LMGA) to align and maximize advocacy efforts Track and manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are accurate and complete Support communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging across stakeholders What’s In It For You

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 4 years experience in absence of Bachelor’s degree Experience in government or similar corporate experience Desired Skills

Ability to interact with senior leadership both inside and outside the corporation. Ability to excel in a fast changing and dynamic environment, with constantly competing priorities. Clearance Level

Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
