We're a capital markets platform built by CRE owners for CRE owners — and we're growing fast. We use AI and deep lender relationships to cut financing timelines in half and deliver best-in-market terms. We're looking for a proven CRE debt producer to own a market and build something big with us.

If you've spent time closing commercial real estate loans — as a mortgage broker, a bank CRE originator, a CMBS or agency loan officer, or a debt fund originator — this role was written for you.

About the Role This is a production role. You'll own origination from first call to close — sourcing opportunities, structuring debt, managing lender relationships, and driving your own pipeline. You'll have the backing of Gumption's AI-powered platform, a curated lender network, and a lean team that moves fast and cuts through the noise.

What You'll Be Doing

Source and close financing transactions:

Originate, structure, underwrite, and close debt transactions across CRE asset types — multifamily, industrial, retail, office, mixed‑use, and more. Bridge, CMBS, agency, construction, and balance sheet — you know the products.

Own your pipeline:

Leverage your existing relationships and build new ones with sponsors, property owners, funds, family offices, and CRE professionals. This is high‑activity origination — calls, emails, relationships.

Lead financial analysis:

Size debt, stress‑test deals, and interpret financial models including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and valuations. Fluent in NOI, DSC, LTV, and IRR.

Prepare deal packages:

Draft sharp, accurate investment memoranda and lender packages that move fast.

Leverage Gumption's AI platform, lender matching tools, and CRM to work smarter and close more.

Who We're Looking For We want a producer — someone who has independently originated and closed commercial real estate loans, not just supported a team that did. We're specifically targeting candidates from:

Commercial mortgage brokerages (you've brokered and closed your own deals)

Bank, credit union, or insurance company CRE lending teams

CMBS, agency (Fannie/Freddie/HUD), or bridge lender origination desks

Debt funds or private credit platforms with direct borrower relationships

You Should Have

4+ years of hands‑on CRE debt origination — real origination, not just transaction support

A track record of independently closing deals (deal sizes of $2M+; annual production of $20M+ preferred)

Existing borrower or intermediary relationships you can bring to a new platform

Deep familiarity with CRE underwriting, capital stack structures, and lender criteria across asset types

Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, accounting, or equivalent; CCIM, CFA, or CAIA is a plus
