$33 - $35.21 per hour

Contract till Jan with pos of ext/conversion
About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented
Sales Tax Analyst
to ensure compliance with state and local sales/use tax regulations. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax filings, managing deadlines, and supporting audit and research activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review
sales/use tax returns , business license applications, and other indirect tax filings
Track returns and payments to ensure timely filing and compliance with all deadlines
Prepare account reconciliations and payment requests
Gather required documentation from internal teams to support filings and applications
Assist with
indirect tax audits
and respond to related inquiries
Perform tax research, including licensing requirements and applicable tax rates
Key Performance Indicators
Accurate and timely completion of all tax filings
Full compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in
sales and use tax
or business license compliance (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
