
Asset Management Specialist

The Configuration Center / Asset Management Specialist position will work in a fast-paced environment delivering hardware to multiple divisions. This is an opportunity based at our Glen Allen, VA location, where excellent attention to detail and time management are the highest priorities. There is heavy focus on imaging hardware with an even mix of Windows laptops and desktops and Mac laptops.
Responsibilities
Daily focus on delivery deadlines
Asset Management responsibilities
Unboxing/re-boxing of hardware to image
Prepare laptop/desktops for imaging
Inventory control/auditsEnd-of-life hardware testing
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 1 year of experience in tech support and administration
At least 1 year of remote tech administration and end user support
At least 1 year of experience with Windows 10 or later operating systems
At least 1 year of experience with ticketing systems and reporting tools (ServiceNow preferred)
Ability to lift 30+ lbs
Ability to self-start
Ability to work independently and with a team
Professional written / oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or military experience
1+ years of SCCM experience
1+ years of WindowsOS experience
1+ years of experience with Active Directory services
1+ experience with virtualization technologies years of macOS experience
Windows certification(s)
Apple certification(s)
