The Parker Industrial Process Filtration Division (IPF) brings together over a hundred years of expertise in filtration and separation products. With safety and innovative solutions at the forefront of our designs, we provide a complete breadth of code stamped filter vessels and filter cartridges under the PECO product line servicing the upstream, midstream and downstream markets. From chemicals, water, inks, paints, coatings, and any general fluid application in between, we provide a variety of Parker pleated and depth filters to fit industrial application needs.
The IPF Division is part of the Parker Filtration Group and consists of locations in Texas and North Carolina.
Position Summary Assist the Division Strategic Pricing Manager in supporting marketing and sales for the Industrial Process Filtration Division in Mineral Wells, TX (near Fort Worth). Responsible for proactively analyzing and making recommendations by considering customer value-based marketing, competitive markets, and company costs affecting the business plans and profitability across the division. Collect, analyze, and evaluate data supporting the division's price to resistance strategy.
Responsibilities
Monitor and keep the division focused on corporate strategic pricing initiatives: including cost, tariff, and inflation coverage; reducing bad factor business; and improving electronic access to view and order products. Responsible for creating and reinforcing continuous feedback to encourage successful pricing models: such as attribute-based-pricing tables and sensitivity analyses. Partner closely with Division Leadership, Product Management, Engineering, MarCom, and Field Sales to analyze pricing.
Proactively provide best-in-class customer support via accurate and timely quotes and answers. Review all RFQs and appropriately make decisions that will ultimately improve the profit levels of the division, taking into account the current market conditions and risk to the division. Support Customer Service, ensuring ERP stays up-to-date.
Responsible for design and implementation of continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems to eliminate waste and improve processes. Responsible for completing monthly standard work, including Sales Price Index and Parker Operating Protocol (POP) Pricing Pareto calculations, and our Win Scorecard metrics.
Assist in analyzing the division's product markets; determine the ceiling and floor prices of products. Evaluate cause and effect with pricing, volume, cost, competition, distribution, and segmentation. Recommend appropriate levels.
Assist the division in determining appropriate list prices; standard discounts and rebates; and managing any restructuring, updating, communication, and publication of price increases.
Analyze the exception pricing process by recommending guidelines, delegation of authority levels, and maintaining a disciplined and structured approach to approval of exception pricing on Special Pricing Agreements.
Work with IT staff in design and implementation of systems and reporting improvements for measuring and monitoring pricing effectiveness and efficiency, by scripting automations and performing rote maintenance.
Provide management with reports to allow management to effectively respond to changing economic conditions and market changes. Perform ongoing measurements and reporting on pricing effectiveness.
Qualifications
BS in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience and at least six years of work experience.
MBA preferred.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent PC skills with proficiency with Microsoft Excel (queries, pivots, complex formulas) and ability to read and troubleshoot VBA. Experience with SQL and Microsoft Power BI preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Pricing/quoting/sales/marketing experience a plus.
General understanding of manufacturing processes, practices, and cost accounting.
Must be able to maintain customer confidence and keep financial and pricing information confidential.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data and pricing management.
