Position Overview Role

As an

Entry‑Level Event Assistant , you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising events for nonprofit organizations. This hands‑on position allows you to:

Interact directly with the public and community members

Assist with event logistics and setup

Contribute to the success of community and retail fundraising initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating community and retail fundraising events

Manage event logistics to ensure smooth execution

Serve as a point of contact for attendees, answering questions and providing information

Promote nonprofit missions and encourage participation and donations

Distribute promotional materials to raise awareness and engagement

Track event data, including donations and sales, ensuring accuracy

Collect attendee feedback to improve future events

Collaborate with team members to ensure successful event delivery

Participate in training sessions to stay informed on nonprofit objectives

Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional presence at all events

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about supporting charitable causes

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Previous experience in event coordination, customer service, or sales is a plus but not required

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for event travel
