Job Overview: Pay Range: $22.24/hr - $24/hr

Requirement/Must Have:

Strong understanding of clinical terminology standards and healthcare data mapping concepts.

Experience supporting data quality analysis and issue resolution.

Knowledge of semantic interoperability principles in healthcare data exchange environments.

Understanding of application development, technical architecture, or business applications that support healthcare interoperability or terminology services.

Experience with data analysis, testing, implementation, technical documentation, and production support.

Ability to analyze complex data and support terminology or coding-related issue resolution.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Ability to support tool refinement, manual adjustments, and quality improvement activities.

Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.

Experience:

Experience supporting clinical terminology, coding, or healthcare data mapping activities.

Experience with healthcare interoperability, HIE, EHR, or terminology services environments is preferred.

Experience analyzing and resolving data quality issues.

Experience supporting testing, implementation, and production support activities.

Experience creating technical and user documentation.

Experience with software conversions, system maintenance, and ongoing application support is preferred.

Exposure to evolving coding requirements and terminology standards is a plus.

Experience supporting tools that require manual training, refinement, or rule adjustment is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Support clinical terminology standards and mapping activities across the HIE environment.

Assist in resolving data quality issues that impact terminology accuracy and interoperability.

Support interpretation of evolving coding requirements and terminology updates.

Help implement best practices for semantic interoperability.

Support manual training, refinement, and adjustment of terminology services tools to improve accuracy and scalability.

Provide support in the usage and maintenance of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications beyond basic developer-level support.

Assist with analysis, visual design, development support, data analysis, testing, and implementation activities.

Create and maintain technical and user documentation.

Support software conversions, system maintenance, and production support functions.

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve terminology workflows and data quality outcomes.

Should Have:

Familiarity with HIE, EHR, or healthcare integration environments.

Exposure to clinical coding standards such as ICD, CPT, SNOMED CT, LOINC, or similar terminology frameworks.

Experience with healthcare data mapping, normalization, or semantic interoperability initiatives.

Ability to support technical platforms and business applications in production environments.

Interest in learning and growing into a more advanced terminology or interoperability specialist role.

Qualification and Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
