Job Summary We are seeking an Instructional Designer with at least one year of experience using AI such as ChatGPT or other large language models (LLMs) to design and develop effective learning solutions for professional and leadership development topics. The core team member will collaborate with team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) following the ADDIE model of instructional design.

Design and develop learning solutions, enhancing instructional design processes, and using innovative tools for learning.
Design, develop, and implement effective assessment and evaluation tools to identify gaps, demonstrate results, and support incremental improvements across learning resources.
Follow the ADDIE model to design and develop learning solutions, using proven instructional design processes and appropriate tools for engaging experiences across multiple modalities.
Stay well-informed of adult learning theory, industry standard methodologies, and tools to advance the solutions provided.
Thoughtfully incorporate the use of AI both in development of materials and in learner application of content as appropriate.
Form relationships and establish credibility to collaborate effectively with supervisors, team members, third‑party vendors, and others.
Collaborate in the management and use of the learning management system (Saba) to support access to and distribution of the learning resources you develop.
Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in needs assessment, curriculum design and development, program evaluation, and eLearning or web‑based resource development.
At least one year of experience using AI such as ChatGPT or other LLMs to support resource design and development of learning solutions.
Experience building e‑learning content.
Competency in Articulate Storyline and/or Rise, InDesign, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, VR/AR tools, immersive training technologies, and/or coding experience.
Articulate communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent organization, administrative, and computer skills.
Ability to develop learning experiences with the audience in mind, capturing their attention and encouraging participation.
Demonstrated ability to follow the ADDIE model (or equivalent) and apply adult learning theory (andragogy).
Ability to work independently or across teams on multiple projects with overlapping time frames and shifting priorities.
Strategic and innovative thinking in learning solutions.
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to overcome obstacles to reach resolution.
Proactive problem‑solving with high level of awareness and initiative.
Program management training.
URLs or work samples required.
Preferred
Experience developing learning materials that are 508 accessible.
Instructional design, instructor, or other certifications related to the field.
Experience collaborating with engineers and scientists in a technical, project‑based environment.
Experience building, managing, and reporting training courses in the Saba learning management system.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Leadership Development, Organization Development, Psychology, Human Systems, Instructional Systems Design, or related degree.
