Vice President Of Regulatory Change Management

Mizuho U.S. Operations ("MUSO") is seeking a Vice President of Regulatory Change Management to join its Regulatory Affairs Group. This role will lead horizon scanning and regulatory interpretation efforts, with a primary focus on Prudential regulations (Capital, Treasury and Liquidity). The VP will play a critical role in identifying emerging regulatory requirements, assessing business impacts, and ensuring the firm remains compliant with evolving U.S. regulatory expectations. Key Responsibilities: Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging U.S. regulatory developments, supervisory priorities, and legislative changes impacting MUSO. Analyze Prudential regulatory changes (Capital and Liquidity) and assess downstream impacts across businesses and corporate functions. Conduct detailed, line-by-line regulatory analysis and translate requirements into clear, actionable guidance for stakeholders. Oversee regulatory impact assessments and provide advisory support and thought leadership across business lines and legal entities. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and other functions to support effective regulatory change implementation. Engage with industry associations (e.g., IIB, SIFMA) to monitor supervisory trends and support regulatory advocacy efforts. Maintain and enhance the regulatory laws, rules, and regulations library and related governance tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field; JD or equivalent strongly preferred. 7 to 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal, or regulatory change management within U.S. financial institutions. Deep knowledge of Prudential regulations, including Capital and Liquidity requirements, Basel Accords, enhanced prudential standards, and Volcker Rule requirements. Strong familiarity with U.S. regulators, including the FRB, SEC, CFTC, FINRA, and NFA. Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate impacts to senior stakeholders. Experience developing or maintaining regulatory libraries or change management repositories. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint and GRC tools preferred. The expected base salary ranges from $162,000.00 - $200,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
