Work Setting:

100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:

Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required);

Experience with cybersecurity operations and email security (5+ years);

Experience with Abnormal Email Security platform;

Experience with email security platforms (detection rules, policies, and response workflows);

Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence platform integration;

Experience with email authentication configurations (SPF, DKIM, DMARC);

Experience with email-based threat types including phishing, business email compromise (BEC), malware delivery, and account takeover;

Experience with custom detection logic development and allow/block list management;

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field;

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain email security detection rules, policies, and response workflows to identify and remediate email-based threats;

Integrate email security platforms with existing security tools including SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, and ticketing systems;

Analyze email-based attack patterns to identify emerging threats and develop detection strategies that reduce risk and response times;

Collaborate with SOC analysts and incident response teams to investigate and remediate phishing, BEC, spoofing, and malware campaigns;

Build and maintain custom detection logic, allow/block lists, and email authentication configurations (SPF, DKIM, DMARC);

Monitor and optimize email security platform performance, ensuring reliability and effectiveness of detection and response capabilities;

Develop documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for email security platform usage and maintenance;
