We are a high-performing, attorney-led mortgage team closing
650–700 transactions annually , seeking a detail-oriented
Post-Closing Compliance Specialist
to join our Baltimore office.
This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of our closed loan files. The ideal candidate has strong mortgage audit experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering error-free work.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct post-closing audits of residential mortgage loan files
Ensure compliance with
investor, regulatory, and internal guidelines
Review files for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to
TRID/RESPA/TILA requirements
Identify missing or incorrect documentation and coordinate resolution
Maintain audit logs and compliance reporting
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve post-closing issues efficiently
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of recent mortgage post-closing audit or compliance experience (required)
Strong knowledge of
TRID, RESPA, TILA, and investor guidelines
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple files in a
high-volume environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be local to the Baltimore area and able to commute to 1240 Key Highway
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with agency and/or non-QM loan products
Background in mortgage quality control or compliance auditing
Familiarity with post-closing workflows in a high-production environment
