About the role
Softline Solutions is seeking a performance-obsessed, "player-coach" Associate Creative Director of Design to lead our high-velocity social and paid media creative team. You will oversee a talented squad of four (Senior and Mid-level designers) to produce thumb-stopping, data-driven creative for a diverse portfolio of household brands.
We’re not just looking for someone who delegates; we need a leader who thrives in the trenches. You treat creative as a science—thriving on conversion rates, A/B test results, and iterative design—while running alongside your team to execute the vision.
What you'll do
Lead by Example:
You are a hands-on leader who "runs alongside" the team. You don't just review work; you are active in the design process, demonstrating craft and speed to set the standard for your four designers.
Performance Strategy:
Collaborate directly with marketing to translate raw data into creative iterations. You’ll be responsible for identifying why an ad performed and how to double down on those wins.
Testing & Optimization:
Design and implement rigorous testing frameworks. You will create variants, set up structured tests, and measure findings to build a documented "playbook" of best practices for each brand.
Team Training:
Use measurement and data findings to mentor the team, establishing best practices in collaboration with marketing to ensure the entire creative pod understands the "why" behind the "what."
Agile Creative Production:
Operate within agile systems to keep the team organized, accountable, and consistently meeting deadlines. You take full ownership of timelines and project health.
Qualifications
8+ years
of design experience, with
2-3 years
in a leadership role.
Gen AI Mastery:
Strong working skillset utilizing Generative AI to accelerate workflows, conceptualize ideas, and enhance creative output.
Platform Fluency:
Expert understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern video editing tools optimized for social formats.
Industry Experience:
Background in a fast-paced agency or performance-heavy in-house team is required.
