We are seeking a
Junior Graphic Designer
to support the development and execution of apparel graphics and surface design concepts. This entry-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented creative professional who is eager to grow within a fast-paced design environment while contributing to the visual identity of a major retail brand.
Working under the direction of the Art Director and senior design team, this individual will assist with layout production, graphic execution, file management, and production preparation for apparel graphics used across multiple product categories. The role requires strong organizational skills, a refined design sensibility, and proficiency in industry-standard design tools.
Key Responsibilities
Execute page layouts, revisions, and design updates as assigned by the Art Director or senior designers.
Scan and process images and artwork, preparing layouts for individual pages or multi-page design sets.
Design and produce pickup pages and other graphic assets as needed.
Organize and maintain digital and physical design archives, including film, scans, and computer files.
Pull film and alternate selects for review sessions with merchants, production teams, and design leadership.
Maintain and update digital file systems by organizing scans and removing alternate files once layouts are finalized.
Prepare, copy, and distribute coverage sets for film and layout review meetings.
Assist with distribution needs for the copy department when required.
Support merchants and internal teams with film and print preparation techniques.
Contribute to the creation and execution of apparel graphics used on products such as t-shirts, sleepwear, intimates, and other apparel items.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners across merchandising, production, and design teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
1–2 years of graphic design or creative production experience.
Proficiency in
Adobe Creative Suite , particularly
Adobe Illustrator .
Strong understanding of branding, layout, and graphic design principles.
Experience preparing artwork or spec packages for production is a plus.
Hand illustration skills are highly desirable.
