Position Details Position: Supporting Documentation Specialist Location: San Antonio, TX Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (On call after training)

Position We are looking for a full time Supporting Documentation Specialist to join our exceptional customer service team who is committed to helping our patients thrive. Our Customer Service department is a fast-paced, high-energy environment and you’ll find yourself challenged and required to use critical thinking every day through a variety of in-person, email and phone conversations. You will also be surrounded by a close-knit and supportive group who all have the same dedication to serving medically complex children and their families.

Responsibilities Obtaining prior authorizations and statements of medical necessity Maintaining patient records Processing patient supply & service orders Collaborating with referrals to create and streamline supporting documentation Ensuring accuracy of supporting documentation to meet compliance and regulatory requirements

Qualifications Durable medical equipment (DME) intake/admissions experience preferred Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required. Experience in Brightree EHR a plus! Experience in obtaining title 19 with healthcare providers

Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the clients we serve are age’s birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.
