
Working Superintendent - Commercial Construction

A Cincinnati-based commercial and industrial general contractor is seeking a Working Superintendent with a proven track record of successfully managing projects in the field from start to finish .
This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can supervise job sites while actively assisting with construction tasks when needed. Projects range from ground-up commercial construction to high-end interior renovations , requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and excellent communication with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily job site operations from project start through completion
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors and field crews
* Read and interpret civil, architectural, and MEP construction drawings
* Maintain job site safety and OSHA compliance
* Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
* Assist with hands-on construction tasks when required
* Ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
Qualifications
* 5+ years of commercial construction supervision experience
* Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings (Civil, Architectural, MEP)
* Experience installing:
* Acoustic ceiling systems
* Door frames and hardware
* Concrete footers and foundations
* Experience operating equipment such as:
* Skid steer
* Track hoe
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
* OSHA 10 certification (minimum) - OSHA 30 preferred
* Valid Driver's License
* Must pass DOT physical exam, drug screening, and BMV background check
