
Sr. SEO Lead

We are seeking a highly execution-focused SEO Lead to manage and elevate organic performance across product portfolio. This role is hands‑on and operational, responsible for maintaining top SEO health scores across properties while evolving our search strategy toward GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AIO (AI Optimization).
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within enterprise CMS environments such as Crownpeak, deep expertise in technical and Product SEO, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues early in the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO & Platform Governance
Manage SEO performance across client web properties using Crownpeak CMS.
Create, track, and raise SEO tickets to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
Maintain top SEO health scores across all managed websites.
Partner with development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in the Dev environment before production release.
Ensure structured data, schema markup, internal linking, canonicalization, metadata, XML sitemaps, and site speed optimizations are correctly implemented.
Conduct regular technical audits and recommend corrective actions.
2. SEO Execution (Not Strategy‑Only)
Execute on‑page optimization including meta titles, descriptions, headers, keyword alignment, and content structuring.
Optimize content for search intent, medical/compliance guidelines, and user experience.
Drive implementation of SEO fixes—not just recommendations.
Work cross‑functionally with marketing, compliance, and IT teams to operationalize SEO updates.
Leverage SEMrush (SEMrush) for:
Keyword tracking and competitive analysis
Technical site audits
Early detection of SEO issues
Ensure fixes are validated in Dev prior to Prod deployment.
Establish dashboards and regular reporting on SEO KPIs.
4. Evolve SEO to GEO / AIO
Lead transition from traditional SEO to:
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) – optimizing for AI‑driven search engines and generative responses.
AIO (AI Optimization) – ensuring Clientt content is discoverable and cited in AI‑powered platforms and search experiences.
Adapt content architecture to align with AI‑driven search patterns.
Implement schema and semantic enhancements to support AI indexing and generative results.
Manage and guide one full‑time content author dedicated to SEO updates.
Provide keyword briefs, optimization frameworks, and structured content requirements.
Ensure SEO‑aligned content updates are executed accurately and efficiently.
Monitor content performance and iterate for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
6–10+ years of hands‑on SEO execution experience.
Strong proven expertise in Product SEO/GEO, ( preference to Health and life sciences Products)
Strong experience with enterprise CMS platforms (Crownpeak preferred).
Proven track record maintaining high SEO health scores across multiple websites.
Deep understanding of:
Technical SEO
Core Web Vitals
Crawl/indexation management
Experience working in regulated industries (Healthcare/Medical preferred).
Proficiency with SEMrush and similar enterprise SEO tools.
Experience collaborating with development teams in Agile environments.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into execution.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with large enterprise organizations similar to Client.
Exposure to AI search ecosystems and generative search optimization.
Familiarity with SEO governance frameworks across global site portfolios.
Experience managing junior SEO or content resources.
