The Role
We’re seeking a highly organized, motivated, and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts from strategy to execution. This role requires real-world, hands‑on marketing experience and is responsible for generating qualified leads that meet defined lead goals and cost-per‑lead targets, while strengthening our brand across multiple channels.
You’ll build systems, create processes, collaborate closely with teams, and continuously refine what works best. This role also represents MidSouth in the community—through events, networking, and face‑to‑face opportunities to connect with homeowners and partners.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan across a wide variety of channels and mediums with a focus on lowest cost per lead and highest intent
Generate, track, and optimize leads based on company lead goals and CPL allocations
Oversee and optimize Google Business Profile, website performance, SEO, and local presence
Manage and evaluate lead quality, attribution, and ROI
Understand and manage lead aggregators and third‑party lead sources
Create, write, and manage marketing content across platforms (web, social, email, print, etc.)
Lead brand management, ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals, and voice
Plan, coordinate, and attend community events, networking opportunities, home shows, and trade events
Support and manage public relations efforts and local partnerships
Understand social media platforms, engagement strategies, and performance metrics
Collaborate with internal teams to support company initiatives and growth
Build, document, and implement marketing processes and programs based on company needs
Continuously test, learn, and improve marketing strategies
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus)
Graphic design knowledge (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
Photography and/or videography skills
Experience in home services or local service‑based industries
Familiarity with CRM systems, call tracking, and marketing automation tools

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Proven, real‑life marketing experience in a marketing manager or similar role (hands‑on execution required)
Strong understanding of lead generation strategy, performance marketing, and CPL management
Experience using Salesforce specifically as a CRM
Google Lead Generation knowledge is a requirement (Local Services Ads, paid search, tracking, optimization)
Strategic oversight of Google Ads, LSAs, and SEO
Experience managing websites, Google Business Profiles, and digital marketing platforms
Excellent writing skills with a strong grasp of brand voice and storytelling
Solid understanding of social media platforms and audience engagement
Comfortable representing the company in the community and enjoys networking and relationship‑building
Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make informed decisions
Highly organized with flawless attention to detail
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and always ready to learn
Enjoys collaboration and being part of a team
