Associate Director, Global Digital Content
We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Global Digital Content Associate Director to lead content strategy and operations across all eCommerce channels. This role will be responsible for driving excellence in digital content creation—from pack images to below-the-fold activation—and shaping the future of content generation through offshore capabilities and AI innovation. This role reports to the Sr Director Consumer Experience. Will consider hybrid or remote.
Scope of the Role
Content Strategy & Execution
Own the end-to-end digital content strategy across global eComm platforms (Amazon, Walmart, DTC, etc.).
Lead the creation and optimization of pack images, product detail pages, and below-the-fold assets to drive conversion and brand consistency.
Partner with brand, design, and commercial teams to ensure content aligns with global brand guidelines and local market needs.
Operational Leadership
Build and manage a scalable content production model, including offshore studios and vendor partnerships.
Develop KPIs and governance frameworks to ensure quality, speed, and cost-efficiency in content delivery.
Implement agile workflows and digital asset management systems to streamline operations.
AI & Innovation
Define and lead the long-term strategy for integrating AI tools into content creation, including generative design, copywriting, and personalization.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends in digital content and eCommerce.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead a global team of content creators, strategists, and external partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, IT, legal, and commercial teams to ensure compliance and innovation.
Experience Required
Typically these skills are obtained with an undergraduate degree along with 10+ years of experience in digital content, eCommerce, or brand marketing, preferably in CPG or retail.
Proven track record of leading global content operations and strategy.
Deep understanding of eComm platforms and consumer behavior.
Experience with offshore content production and vendor management.
Familiarity with AI tools and their application in creative workflows.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with DAM systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder).
Knowledge of SEO, UX, and performance marketing.
Passion for innovation and digital transformation.
