The Structural Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in construction and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Client Details Mid-size GC headquartered in North Carolina - with a growing office in Myrtle Beach - is seeking a Lead Superintendent to join their team. Upcoming projects will be based throughout the Myrtle Beach area. They specialize in commercial and industrial work, delivering both ground-up and renovation projects ranging from $5M-$25M. Description Supervise all phases of construction activities, from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain efficient workflow and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address challenges and implement solutions. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and progress updates. Monitor the use of materials and equipment to minimize waste and control costs. Foster clear communication among team members, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals. Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. Profile A successful Structural Superintendent should have: A strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations. Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges efficiently. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong communication skills to foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
