McMorrow for Michigan is seeking a Michigan Deputy Finance Director to join the team and play a key role in advancing the Senator's fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and skilled at managing multiple priorities efficiently. Strong abilities in research, communication, and collaboration are essential, along with a passion for executing a successful in-state fundraising strategy. The successful candidate will bring creativity, initiative, and a proactive approach to the finance program. This position will report directly to the National Finance Director. Duties and Responsibilities: Create a strategy to appropriately target small, medium, and high dollar in-state donors Organize and execute in-state fundraising events and donor meetings Participate in the development of a Michigan finance plan Manage and grow Michigan-based major donor relationships Develop relationships with campaign stakeholders and new prospects Communicate with Finance Director on progress to reaching in-state goals on a quarterly basis Prepare memos and other briefing materials Staff fundraising events Manage the donor thank you process Other duties as needed Qualifications: Past Michigan fundraising experience Strong writing and editing skills as well as attention to detail Strong proficiency in internet research Experience working with NGP, Numero, and ActBlue Working knowledge of Federal campaign finance laws Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting environment and keep up with breaking news Willingness to learn, share, and collaborate across departments Willingness to work long hours and irregular campaign hours, including nights and weekends A valid drivers license, clean driving record, and vehicle Preferred, but not required: Experience managing interns or other staff
