About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Human Resources to lead its Office of Human Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, ensuring that programs and services align with the company's mission and long-term goals, and fostering a productive, equitable, and compliant workplace. This role involves providing strategic HR leadership, including talent acquisition, classification and compensation, employee and labor relations, benefits administration, training and professional development, and performance management. The Executive Director will also serve as a key advisor to agency leadership, driving the implementation of HR initiatives and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in HR administration, public administration, or a related field, with at least 10 years of leadership experience in HR. A Master's degree and professional HR certifications are preferred. The role requires a deep understanding of employment laws, EEO compliance, and a proven track record in all major HR functional areas. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a hands-on approach to HR administration. Experience in employee and labor relations, particularly with state agencies or similar organizations, is essential. The Executive Director will also be expected to have a strong background in HR data analysis, and experience with technology and educational integrated software systems.
