National Business Development Representative
River Oaks Hospital, a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents, and children, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is seeking a dynamic and talented National Business Development Representative. River Oaks has provided quality treatment to service individuals suffering from mental illness and/or addictive disorders since 1970. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient). The National Business Development Representative serves as the liaison between the facilities, the community, and referring agencies to increase awareness of the hospital's specialized treatment programs to professionals across the United States. The representative is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility's services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods, including extensive travel. Key objectives will be to inform, educate, and communicate our programs and services to those who treat Eating Disorders, trauma, Active Military and Veterans. In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and the Business Development Team, the Business Development Representative presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. The Business Development Representative is responsible for implementing the facility's strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility's brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals. The Business Development Representative must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast-paced environment. In conjunction with community resources, he/she contributes to the maintenance of relationships with outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers, and family members. Participate in county and regional meetings of the public mental health providers. Performs duties in accordance with the facility's mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Human Services field. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Extensive national travel required.
