Deputy Finance Director
Blake Gendebien is searching for applicants for a highly competitive, well-funded House race for the 2026 cycle. This role offers significant room for leadership and career growth over the course of the election. The Deputy Finance Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the candidate's call time program, including researching and preparing call sheets and call lists, staffing the candidate during call time, maintaining an accurate donor database, and assisting with other fundraising tasks as they arise. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Direct, manage, and implement all aspects of the candidate's call time operation, including meeting assigned goals, creating call lists and sheets, organizing outreach, staffing and coaching the candidate, tracking results, and managing data. Direct and manage donor and prospect call time follow-up, including scheduling future calls, pledge, chase, and relational outreach. Complete research on donors and prospects. Report out results of call time; including actual donor contact, hard and soft pledge totals, and overall performance statistics. Assist with drafting major donor fundraising emails and communications. Create fundraising materials and assist in remaining compliant with all state and federal finance laws. Assist with fundraising events, especially on-site. Work with the Finance Director to manage a finance intern program, including intern call time, donor research, candidate call time list preparation, and more. Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue, and Google Drive Relentless kindness and an ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays A valid US driver's license and access to reliable, insured transportation Preferred:
