Member Relations Attendant

Valley Country Club is seeking a motivated and hospitality-driven professional to join our team in a growth-focused role designed to develop future leaders in private club operations. This position is a hands-on learning opportunity for an individual interested in building a career in the private club industry. Working directly alongside club leadership, this role will gain exposure to the full scope of club operations with a primary focus on delivering exceptional member experiences. The Club Operations & Member Experience Associate will support key initiatives across events, food & beverage service, pool operations, member programming, and overall hospitality execution

learning how each touchpoint contributes to member satisfaction, retention, and membership growth. This is a paid developmental position designed to build operational understanding, leadership skills, and a deep appreciation for the standards that define Valley Country Club and Troon-managed properties. Core Purpose of the Role: Support the execution of exceptional member experiences Learn and assist in the operational rhythm of a private club Develop an understanding of hospitality-driven leadership Gain cross-departmental exposure to club functions Build foundational skills in event execution, service delivery, and member relations Pay: $20/hr Key Responsibilities: Member Experience Support:

Assist in the execution of club events and member programming; support day-to-day hospitality touchpoints across dining, pool, and social spaces; observe and participate in service delivery with a focus on consistency and personalization; identify opportunities to enhance guest and member experience Event & Programming Operations:

Assist with club event planning and execution; support setup, flow, and service coordination for member functions; participate in post-event review and operational feedback Pool & Seasonal Service Support:

Engage in seasonal operations including poolside hospitality; support service standards in outdoor and casual environments; learn the importance of experience continuity across all club settings Operational Learning:

Shadow leadership across departments including: Food & Beverage, Events, Membership Experience, Club Programming, Service Operations; assist with execution of service standards and operational processes Membership Awareness:

Develop understanding of how hospitality impacts: member satisfaction, retention, recruitment; learn how member experience supports membership sales and engagement Continuous Improvement:

Participate in service evaluations and improvement initiatives; contribute ideas for enhancing member experience; support implementation of operational enhancements Learning & Development Focus:

This role is designed to build knowledge in: private club service culture, event operations, member relationship management, cross-department collaboration, hospitality leadership fundamentals, experience-driven programming, operational excellence Ideal Candidate: Passionate about hospitality and service excellence Interested in pursuing a career in club or hospitality leadership Strong interpersonal and communication skills Curious, proactive, and eager to learn Comfortable working in a dynamic, member-facing environment Professional and team-oriented Hospitality, event, or service experience preferred but not required.
