1757 Golf Club is a dynamic combination of a private member golf experience and a high‑energy public destination known for its driving range, simulators, restaurant, and event programming. We are seeking a polished and proactive Member Relations & Marketing Manager to elevate communication, guest engagement, and programming across both the private club and public‑facing amenities. This is a highly visible role that blends relationship building, onsite presence, hospitality, and marketing execution to strengthen the overall 1757 experience for members, guests, and the community.
Position Summary
The Member Relations & Marketing Manager serves as a central connector between members, staff, and the broader public audience. The role enhances member engagement, supports retention efforts, and executes marketing, programming, and communication strategies for the club’s full range of amenities. This position will also play a key role in promoting the public‑facing destination brand at 1757 by managing digital and traditional marketing channels, supporting events, and ensuring a cohesive, on‑brand experience across the property.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Marketing
Develop, design, and distribute club communications including newsletters, email campaigns, push notifications, and social media updates.
Maintain and regularly update the website, social channels, and mobile app to ensure information is timely and aligned with club priorities.
Design promotional materials for events, amenities, and programming.
Capture and curate event content, including photos and videos, to support storytelling, recaps, and digital engagement.
Collaborate with department leaders to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and on brand.
Implement a consistent and engaging communications plan that upholds brand standards while highlighting club events, experiences, and general updates.
Maintain response, attendance, and follow‑up lists for marketing and member events.
Execute marketing efforts for the public‑facing destination at 1757, including restaurant, driving range, simulators, and events, using traditional and digital marketing channels and targeted communications.
Build weekly or monthly promotional content calendars to support programming, specials, leagues, and activations.
Track and report on engagement metrics, website performance, attendance, and related KPIs to guide ongoing communication strategies.
Member & Guest Engagement
Build meaningful relationships with members by maintaining a visible presence throughout the club, attending events, and proactively engaging with individuals and families.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Identify opportunities to add value to the member experience through concierge‑level service, thoughtful touches, and proactive communication.
Work with the Membership Director to support membership initiatives by assisting with retention efforts, referral programs, and member appreciation activities.
Manage and promote membership programming, including events and experiences tailored to different membership categories.
Gather post‑event and ongoing member / guest feedback to continually refine services, programs, and communications.
Effectively respond to member / guest comments and concerns in accordance with club standards.
Provide creative ideas, feedback, and suggestions to improve overall engagement and member satisfaction.
Serve as a welcoming representative for public visitors during high‑traffic events, activations, and promotional nights to ensure a positive impression of the venue.
Partner with the F&B and golf teams to maintain a cohesive hospitality experience across dining, patio, driving range, and simulator areas.
Programming & Events
Manage and promote club member programming, including social events and activities that appeal to various member categories.
Support public‑facing programming such as range nights, leagues, watch parties, community events, and vendor collaborations.
Coordinate event promotion, onsite support, photography, and follow‑up communication to build momentum for recurring activities.
Maintain attendance, RSVP, and follow‑up lists for all club events and initiatives.
Brand & Onsite Experience
Ensure all printed and digital materials reflect brand standards.
Support the rollout and ongoing presentation of the public destination brand at 1757, including signage, menus, digital assets, and guest touchpoints.
Work collaboratively with operations and department managers to reinforce quality standards across the club.
Additional Responsibilities
Support the General Manager and Membership Director with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Attend membership and social events as a club representative to ensure service quality and brand consistency.
Attend departmental meetings to provide updates on upcoming communications, promotions, and events.
Assist with partnership outreach to local organizations, corporate groups, and community stakeholders to expand awareness of club offerings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in hospitality, private clubs, marketing, or customer service strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools required. Website / CRM systems experience is a plus.
Experience with graphic design tools (Canva or similar) is a plus.
Professional presence with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Comfort working in both member‑only and public‑facing environments, with the ability to adapt communication tone to each audience.
Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends during key events or promotional activations.
