Role: Salesforce CPQ Architect
Location: Atlanta GA Onsite
We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce Architect with strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation and revenue operations initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing scalable Salesforce solutions, driving Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) architecture, and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong technical depth, and hands-on experience architecting complex Salesforce ecosystems for large organizations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design
Design and own end-to-end Salesforce architecture across CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Architect scalable Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), Lead-to-Revenue, and Order-to-Cash processes.
Define enterprise integration patterns with ERP systems, billing platforms, tax engines, payment gateways, and external third-party applications.
Ensure platform scalability, security, governance, data integrity, and performance optimization.
Provide solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and system administrators to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
2. Salesforce CPQ & Revenue Cloud
Lead full lifecycle implementation of Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud solutions.
Architect and implement:
Complex product catalogs and product bundling
Configuration rules and product constraints
Advanced pricing models, discount schedules, and approvals
Subscription management, renewals, amendments, and cancellations
Multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-entity business processes
Design solutions for revenue recognition, invoicing, and billing integration.
Build automated contract lifecycle management workflows.
Optimize quote generation, approvals, renewals, and revenue operations processes.
3. Sales Cloud Architecture
Design enterprise sales processes including:
Lead management
Opportunity management
Forecasting and quota planning
Territory management
Pipeline visibility and sales analytics
Implement automation using Salesforce Flows, Apex, Process Builder migrations, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Enable Einstein Analytics and AI-driven insights where applicable.
Define best practices for data quality, duplicate management, and user adoption.
4. Experience Cloud Architecture
Architect and implement partner portals, customer communities, and self-service solutions using Experience Cloud.
Design secure sharing models, role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, and external user access.
Enable capabilities such as:
Self-service quoting
Order tracking
Case management
Knowledge management
Partner collaboration
Optimize portal usability, performance, mobile responsiveness, and external user experience.
5. Integration, Technical Leadership & DevOps
Define API-led integration strategies using REST, SOAP, middleware, and event-driven architecture.
Work with MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or other middleware platforms.
Lead Salesforce DevOps practices including:
CI/CD pipelines
Version control and branching strategy
Scratch org and sandbox strategy
Release management and deployment governance
Conduct code reviews and establish Salesforce development standards.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to Salesforce developers, administrators, and functional teams.
Stay updated on Salesforce roadmap, new releases, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of CRM experience with at least 5+ years in Salesforce architecture roles.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud.
Strong expertise in:
Apex
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Salesforce Flows
Integration frameworks
Salesforce data model and security model
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), Lead-to-Revenue, and subscription business models.
Strong experience with Salesforce security architecture, data governance, and role hierarchy design.
Ability to work across both functional and technical teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
