
Inside Sales Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
Qualify inbound sales inquiries via chat & phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate entity within rf IDEAS (technical support, customer service, inside sales) or with the appropriate partner (Distributor, DMR, or VAR).
Follow established lead processes within the CRM.
Manage the inbound marketing lead dashboard by qualifying and initiating discovery with leads converting via our website to assess the potential opportunity, directing to vertical leads, owning the pass‑off and follow‑up with channel partners, and working selected leads directly.
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and digital engagement in the US, Canada, and EMEA markets.
Manage assigned accounts for Silver Engage and emerging partners through touchpoints, trainings, opportunity management, and sales close.
Develop, build, and grow assigned value‑added reseller partnerships and assist with the development of direct marketing resellers & distribution partners as needed.
Conduct evaluation calls with prospective customers to help determine project needs, often in collaboration with a pre‑sales engineer.
Build and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to close when appropriate.
Collaborate with vertical leads, marketing, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Update and maintain accurate records in the CRM system, documenting all customer interactions and sales activities.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product advancements.
Conduct research and execute call‑outs for new/potential VARs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM, electrical engineering, computer science, or business (preferred).
0–2 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in technology or SaaS industries.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive and professional phone manner as well as a conversational written tone and cadence.
Preferred fluency in Spanish and German.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical aptitude and eagerness to learn about new products and solutions.
Work Environment This position is based in our Schaumburg, IL office with potential for hybrid work options. Regular business hours are observed, with occasional extended hours to meet sales goals or customer needs.
