
Senior Tax Manager

Adecco is partnering with a large global manufacturing organization in the Metro Detroit area to identify a Senior Tax Manager. This role will support the company’s global tax accounting function and play a key role in the preparation and oversight of income tax reporting within a complex multinational environment.
This position offers strong visibility within the finance organization and the opportunity to work closely with leadership, global finance teams, and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
Analyze effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, and uncertain tax positions
Oversee aspects of the global tax accounting process and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
Partner with external auditors during financial statement audits and assist with audit support requests
Provide technical tax accounting guidance related to business initiatives, organizational changes, and complex transactions
Collaborate with global finance and tax teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
Monitor developments in tax law and accounting guidance and assess potential impact to the organization
Assist in developing and maintaining tax accounting policies, procedures, and documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of tax accounting experience within public accounting or a multinational corporate environment
Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP tax accounting
Experience supporting complex global tax reporting processes
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally
