Job Summary:
As an HR Employee Relations Professional, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s Vision, Values, and Commitments (VV&Cs) while maintaining a fair and respectful workplace. You will conduct investigations, resolve employee concerns, and advise leadership on employee relations (ER) matters to ensure a consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience. This role primarily supports the assigned geographic region but may also assist with cross‑regional initiatives. This position follows the company’s global telework policy and requires at least three days of in‑person attendance each week at the designated office or project site.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage complex employment‑related investigations end‑to‑end, including intake, background research, interviews, reports, corrective actions, and debriefs across office and project sites.
Investigate complaints of policy violations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or bullying.
Coach and advise management on sensitive ER issues including performance management, workforce reductions, mental health concerns, and policy communication.
Partner with global stakeholders across Legal, HR, Ethics and Compliance, Security, and Industrial/Labor Relations.
Facilitate training for managers and supervisors on ER practices and assist with team‑led projects.
Collaborate with the ER Communities of Expertise to leverage data analytics for proactive employee engagement improvements.
Deliver workforce reduction processes as initiated by Project HR and Project Management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of progressive ER experience in lieu of degree.
Proven track record managing workplace investigations that withstand legal scrutiny.
Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and ER best practices.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Prior experience supporting large‑scale engineering, construction, or project management environments.
Exposure to multinational or cross‑regional ER functions.
Experience in employee relations program design or training delivery.
