We are looking for a seasoned
Zone Director
to lead and scale Independent Agency (IA) distribution across a multi-state territory. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving growth, managing field teams, and strengthening agency partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of
Field Territory Managers (FTMs)
across 3–4 states
Drive profitable growth within the
Independent Agency distribution channel
Build and maintain strong relationships with key agency partners
Coach, mentor, and develop field leaders to achieve performance targets
Execute regional strategies aligned with national distribution goals
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and agency performance metrics
Required Experience
Proven experience in
Independent Agency (IA) distribution
within insurance
Prior experience as a
Senior Field Territory Manager
or
Director-level leader
Strong track record of managing geographically distributed teamsExperience working with IA-focused carriers such as Travelers, Progressive, Safeco, or National General
Deep understanding of agency relationship management and production growth

captive agency distribution models
(e.g., State Farm, Allstate, Farmers Insurance)
