Role Overview We are looking for a
Senior Account Executive
to drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing accounts. This is a
quota-carrying role
focused on selling B2B payment and financial automation solutions to finance leaders and operational stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a high-performing sales professional with experience in fintech, payments, or financial software who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships while closing complex deals.
Key Responsibilities New Business Development
Identify and prospect potential customers through outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, and market research
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities within mid‑market and enterprise organizations
Conduct discovery conversations with finance and operations leaders to understand payment workflows and pain points
Deliver product demonstrations and consultative presentations tailored to customer needs
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close
Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Account Growth & Relationship Management
Manage relationships with existing clients to drive continued adoption and revenue expansion
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling additional payment and automation solutions
Partner with internal teams including product, customer success, and operations to ensure successful client outcomes
Serve as a trusted advisor to finance teams on improving payment efficiency and automation
Qualifications
3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
in fintech, payments, or financial software
Demonstrated success closing B2B deals and exceeding sales targets
Experience selling into finance organizations, including CFOs, controllers, or accounts receivable teams is preferred
Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
Experience using
Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Additional Information
Hybrid work schedule:
3 days per week in the NYC office
Travel:
Approximately 25%
Base Salary:
$150,000 + commission (OTE discussed during interview process)
