Our office, located in Lincoln, RI, is seeking an exposure management analyst to join the team. This is a full‑time position based on a 37.5‑hour work week. The starting annual salary ranges from $133,173 to $183,113 depending on experience. Hired applicants will also be eligible for the company’s annual variable incentive based on performance. The role is open to full‑time remote work or hybrid onsite in our Lincoln office, with normal business hours 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Eastern Time.

Position Summary Our Lincoln, RI office is seeking a highly technical Salesforce Application Manager to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of our Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Agentforce‑powered solutions. This role blends hands‑on technical leadership, people management, and architectural ownership of agentic and generative AI capabilities embedded across customer‑facing and internal workflows. The ideal candidate deeply understands Salesforce platform architecture, data and integration patterns, and AI‑driven automation, and can translate business strategy into scalable, secure, and intelligent applications.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture: Oversee and manage the technical architecture of Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Serve as the technical authority for Agentforce and GenAI‑powered automations, defining standards and best practices for Apex, LWC, Flow, platform events, and Marketing Cloud components. Lead architectural decisions related to LLMs, prompt design, agent orchestration, and AI governance.

AI & Agentic Strategy: Design and implement agentic systems that execute multi‑step reasoning and actions, integrating with CRM, Marketing Cloud, data platforms, and external services. Balance autonomy with compliance, explainability, and risk controls, and partner with cross‑functional teams to define responsible AI practices. Evaluate and translate emerging Salesforce AI features and third‑party AI tools into scalable solutions.

Team Management & Delivery: Manage and mentor Salesforce engineers, admins, and developers, setting technical direction, code quality standards, and delivery expectations. Conduct architectural and code reviews, manage backlog prioritization, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Oversee performance monitoring, training, and professional development for team members.

Integration & Data Architecture: Lead integration efforts across Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, data warehouses, CDPs, and external platforms using APIs and middleware. Ensure consistent data models and synchronization strategies, partnering with data engineering teams on analytics, attribution, and AI‑ready datasets.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts for product, marketing, and executive stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor for strategic decisions within Salesforce and AI ecosystems, balancing speed, quality, and platform health. Collaborate with service consumers, Application Managers, Service Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to align strategies and support business needs.

Operational Support & Compliance: Oversee day‑to‑day operational support for the application, including incident management and code approvals. Ensure adherence to coding standards, maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, and uphold application performance and uptime standards. Partner with Enterprise Cybersecurity, Disaster Recovery, Asset Management, and Vendor Management to ensure compliance, security, and effective internal controls.

Strategic Direction & Continuous Improvement: Create and drive short‑ and long‑term application strategies in alignment with cross‑functional partners. Manage business partner relationships, stay informed about new technologies and proactively implement continuous process improvements.

May handle additional duties as required.

Requirements

Education & Experience: Typically requires a 4‑year degree and at least 5 years managing or coordinating projects and/or teams, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to fulfill the essential job functions.

Salesforce & Marketing Cloud Expertise: Hands‑on experience with the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, security model, governor limits, and managing complex multi‑cloud architectures. Strong knowledge and practical skills with Salesforce Marketing Cloud—Journeys, data extensions, APIs, and automation—with a solid understanding of identity, consent, personalization, and marketing data flows.

Agentforce, Agentic AI & GenAI: Experience with Salesforce Agentforce or equivalent agentic frameworks, including both conceptual and practical expertise in agentic architectures and orchestration. Skilled in large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, tool use, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and AI safety. Capable of designing reliable AI agent systems within business and compliance constraints, emphasizing hallucination mitigation and proactive monitoring.

Leadership & Technical Management: Demonstrated success in managing and developing technical teams, fostering strong architectural decision‑making and systems thinking. Comfortable operating as both a manager and a technical leader in agile, CI/CD‑driven environments, with a background in event‑driven or distributed systems. Experienced in deploying AI features to production at scale.

Preferred Skills & Certifications: Salesforce certifications (Technical Architect, Application Architect, Marketing Cloud Consultant, AI‑related credentials) are highly valued. Experience integrating Salesforce with data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs). Agile experience, preferably with Program Increment Planning and Agile Release Trains. Hold, actively pursuing, or willing to pursue ITIL certification.
