• Northeast Territory: Baltimore, New York, Boston, Washington DC
• Southeast Territory: Orlando, Atlanta, Miami
Commission:
6% of sales (uncapped)
On-Target Earnings:
~$180,000+
Travel:
Approximately 1 trip per month
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated
Capital Account Manager
to drive new business and expand hospital partnerships within an established territory. This role focuses on selling
capital equipment used in hospital sterile processing departments , helping healthcare systems safely clean and reprocess surgical instruments before reuse.

Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a
territory pipeline of capital equipment opportunities
Prospect and develop
new hospital relationships
Expand business within
existing installed accounts
Conduct
virtual consultations, product demonstrations, and presentations
Navigate hospital sales processes starting with
supervisors and managers and moving up to directors and administration
Collaborate with
Inside Sales, Engineering, and Sales Leadership
throughout the sales process
Maintain accurate
CRM reporting, forecasting, and territory planning
Manage
long-cycle capital opportunities tied to hospital budgeting cycles
Typical Deal Sizes
Sink Deals: ~$60K
Table Deals: $100K+
Full Capital Projects: $250K+
Can close quickly for smaller opportunities
Larger projects often tied to
hospital budgeting cycles (up to 12 months+)
Required Experience
3–5+ years of capital equipment sales experience
Demonstrated
new business development / hunting ability
Experience managing
long sales cycles
Strong
consultative selling approach
Proven ability to manage and prioritize
territory pipelines
Comfortable with
phone-heavy and virtual selling environments
Self-starter able to
operate independently and manage territory strategy
Preferred Experience
Healthcare or
hospital capital equipment sales
Experience selling
workflow or process improvement solutions
Knowledge of
sterile processing environments
Strong
CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred)
